I got coaching from a guy named Nolen on deuces cracked for full ring cash games around 2 years ago. I was mostly playing 2/4 and 3/6 at the time, but im sure he will be helpful if you tell him I sent you. Good luck.
I just got back from PCA and was pretty happy with the side action. I was wondering if any of you knew how the action was during tournaments, especially in Europe. I am strongly considering going to Europe for a few months next year, but only if I will be really busy. Thanks.

I know that when I was in macau the cash games were really juicy at neighbouring casinos but not the one that was hosting the APPT event, So maybe check out some other casinos if there is a couple around.

Duting EPT's there's always good action going on. Maybe EPT MonteCarlo and EPT San Remo are good ones, they are next to each other and the Mediterranean is really nice!
I was playing $10/20 last night at Bellagio and running fairly well. I was in for $4000 and had a $3000 stack when this hand came up. A weak player limped from middle position, a guy that didnt seem too creative made it $120 from the cutoff. The small blind, a super lag, probably weak player called. I picked up JJ in the bb. Looking back, I probably should have called but I made it $420. Only the first raiser to $120 called. The flop came 875. I bet $620 and the guy quickly counted out 16 $100s and threw them in. I decided to fold, but looking back, I probably could have played the hand much slower, investing the same $1000 by calling on later streets, making it tough for me to be bluffed, assuming I didnt reraise preflop. As I play more and more deepstacked, these spots seem to come up more often and it is fairly tough to deal with them. Any replies would be appreciated.

I'm not much of a cash game player myself but I think there is no way that you are ahead with your JJ on the flop like that with a reraise from a player who you don't give a lot of credit to. I do believe that calling preflop is the best play to make preflop and I dont mind check calling for a bit of pot controll also. I would imagine in this particular spot he would happen to have a set or AA/KK minimum. So difficult spot and I am glad you got away from it, because if you didn't I probably would have lost a fair bit of respect for you! I believe you will have a hard time adjusting to cash games with tournament fever such as myself and from the good cash game players I have spoken to it seems to still be a fair bit out of my league.
Hello, I am planning on playing 2/5 game where the button is required to put in $10. The action starts with the small blind then goes like normal. I am wondering if the button should always straddle, as in it is +ev because you are playing for twice the stakes in position and gain position preflop. In this game, you can straddle for any amount between $10 and $100. Which amount is optimal? I am having a little tougher time coming up with an answer to that one. Thanks.

I dont have too much experience with the mississippi straddle, but I am pretty sure it is always right to straddle on the button. As for how much, I really have no clue, although I assume it is somewhere between $10 and $30. I would love to hear what other people have to say about that.
